StreetreachEach year we are involved in running Streetreach programmes in partnership with local churches during the Easter holidays. Streetreach involves getting a team of young people (and not so young) out into the community to do acts of kindness and show God’s love in a very practical way. Whether it is cutting grass, painting fences or picking up litter, everything is done for God’s glory and to share the Good News with others. We have enjoyed running events in places such as Lisburn, Belfast, Ballymena, Newtownabbey, Coleriane and Londonderry. We thank God that many of these areas have carried on doing their Streetreach projects year after year and that they are still impacting communities for God. Our most recent Streetreach event ran in Bloomfield Estate, Bangor. A team of about 100 young people from the local churches gathered together to serve in that estate and to bless others. We praise God for this initiative and the difference it makes. For our next Streetreach project, we are looking forward to heading to Ballymoney to partner with 4 local churches in the area. |
