Definition of the word HUB:A centre around which other things are connected, revolve and radiate or from which they are released; a focus of power, activity and authority. The name reflects our goal – “a centre point where young people can belong and be connected, a place where you can plug into and radiate the love of God. HUB is a place to be released in ministry through the power, activity and authority of God’s Holy Spirit.” For over ten years Crown Jesus Ministries have reached tens of thousands of young people with the message of Jesus and continue to work with hundreds of schools and churches through our 1Way projects. HUB is the outworking of this vital ministry and each event is built upon five essential elements:
HUB is a place to: Hear God’s word Each evening will incorporate the above into a program that is both culturally relevant yet unashamedly Christ focused. We aim to deliver the 'good news' of Jesus Christ in a new and fresh way. The message has remained the same but the method of delivery has very much changed! We encourage people to arrive early for the prayer meeting (open to everyone from 6.45pm onwards). The program will finish around 9.30pm with the ARC café open for food and fellowship afterwards. After each event a local christian artist will be playing an acoustic set within the Arc Café. This creates the perfect atmosphere to listen to some great music, meet other young people and share what God is doing in your life. The resident worship artist is the gifted Ryan Griffith and ministry each evening will be led by the Crown Jesus staff.
