With a 5 month project in Londonderry now coming to a close we look back with thanksgiving in our hearts to what has been achieved. 1000's of miles have been put on the car's and Crown Jesus van and we thanks God firstly for safety in travel. There have been many late nights returning in horrendous snow, -7 degrees and dense fog and we valued the prayers of everyone.
Our children's, youth and adult outreach programmes have reached 1000's of people with the good news of Jesus on the streets, in homes, schools, hotels and church facilities.
Many people have responded to the call to salvation and this year to date we have seen more adults respond than at any other time in our ministry. Pray for those who have made decisions and for the churches in Londonderry as they seek to continue their evangelistic efforts beyond our project.

The evangelists, staff and Directors of Crown Jesus Ministries are saddened to hear of the death of their wonderful friend Derick Bingham.
Derick Bingham died peacefully in the early hours of this morning.
Although his passing means unimaginable joy for him, our thoughts are with Margaret, the girls and his family as they suffer the loss of a husband and father.
In 2003 Derick assisted the staff in setting up the 'If my people...' Prayer event which continues to run each year and has seen thousands of people attend and praying for Ireland. Derick was a regular speaker at this event and his warm character, humour and guidance will be terribly missed.
How nice it was for Philip and I to have had coffee with him before Christmas and yet how sad that another spiritual father is gone.

What a mighty God we serve!
With almost 250 adults now half way through our Evangelism Training course in both Londonderry and Donegal Town we have been blessed by the openness and enthusiasm found by those attending. Please pray that those who participate in the course will take the knowledge learned and apply it to their lives on a daily basis. ‘The Journey’(a five week ‘Alpha Style’ course exploring the Christian faith) begins in Londonderry on 31st March. Held over two venues each week, this is a great opportunity for people to invite friends and family into a relaxed environment and hear the Good News of Jesus. Each week the ‘coffee bar’ setting will include Music from Andi Oakes and Jamie Robinson, multimedia and a short presentation/talk from the Evangelists (Pip Kerr and myself (Mitch)). Please plan to support the ‘If My people…’prayer event on Saturday 13th March at 8.00pm in Lisneal College, Londonderry. Our guest speaker will be Val English. Val was Pastor in Isle of Man, Monkstown, Newtownbreda and Portstewart before ‘retiring’. It is a joy to have him come and minister to us and we eagerly anticipate what God will say to us through Val. The brilliant Andi Oaks and band will again lead us in worship. Our Klass Kidsprogramme starts in another new school (Gilford Primary) on 22nd February. Please pray for David Murphy, Richard kernohan and the Gap Year students as they continue in this vital work. One Way youth outreach in Derry will begin to kick off next month with the Street Reach programme, school visitations and ‘One Way’ celebration. Pray for Ste Halliday as he co-ordinates this programme. Next week we have a leaders meet in Newtownabbey to present and plan for a five month mission in this area in 2011. Please pray for the leaders representing 30+ local churches who will be attending this meeting. Finally our dear friend Derick Bingham is back in hospital and we would ask that prayer warriors everywhere take some time to lift him and the family up in Prayer. God Bless
Onwards!

A very happy New Year on behalf of everyone at Crown Jesus Ministries. Having just returned from the Evangelist’s Conference in London we can all agree with J.John when he said “I just got back from one of the most enjoyable gatherings of evangelist’s I have ever been to - we are all seriously revved up!"
2009 was an incredible year of blessing for Crown Jesus. Not only did we have the privilege of sharing the gospel directly with more people than any previous year (over 25,000 people) but we saw more people respond to the call to salvation than ever before. Our summer camps had the biggest turn out to date with 170 young people and leaders, our Klass Kids puppet team ran 10 after schools clubs (each club lasting four weeks) and also led over 40 school assemblies.0ver 350 teenagers filled in decision slips after responding to the gospel through our post primary and 1-Way events. We partnered with more churches, trained more adults in evangelism and gave away more money to third world needs than any other year.Thank you to the many people who stand with us in prayer, support us financially and give of their time to make this ministry such a powerful vehicle for evangelism. We are in awe of the goodness, faithfulness and grace of our Heavenly Father. We acknowledge our dependence upon His Holy Spirit, empowering us for service so that we may communicate the good news of Jesus clearly. We are committed to evangelism in Ireland and our vision statement for the last 10 years drives more than ever before, ‘to see the people of Ireland crown Jesus Lord of their lives.’Each year brings us into a new project and we will be spending most of the next 5 months in Londonderry and Donegal. A busy programme is already planned and you can view the citywide events by clicking HERE.In addition to these events the team will be preaching in churches each week as well as sharing in schools and many other venues. By visiting the itinerary on this website you can get a more detailed look at the programme of events.
Advertising for Camp Ireland has already begun and anyone wishing to receive further information on camp, promo D.V.D’s or application forms should contact Jamie Robinson at the office. The dates for Camp will again be the last week in July and first two weeks in August.
Keep praying and God blessOnwards!Mitch
