In the Academy you will be:

Encouraged in both personal and spiritual growth, through Bible studies, daily staff devotions, book studies, conferences and mentoring

Provided with practical training - Including evangelism, prayer ministry, puppet skills, drama, graphics, social media, filming & OCN Youth Work qualifications (extra cost)

Given opportunities for first-hand experience in ministry, this will depend on the stream you choose.
We have 4 STREAMS to choose from depending on your ministry interests and availability:
COST:
We want The Academy to be accessible to everyone, so we have kept the cost as low as possible
£20 a month (OCN not included)
FUNDRAISING:
We encourage everyone to run one fundraiser during the year to help raise support for the ongoing work of Crown Jesus Ministries and supplement the extra expenses related to Academy.

ENGAGE
This Stream is focused on ‘out and about’, ‘hands on’ youth and kids ministry.
You will get the opportunity to be involved in schools (both Primary and Post-Primary) and church ministry as well as online engagement. We have been running programmes in schools in Northern Ireland for 18 years and have recently started to be invited into schools in the Republic of Ireland. Therefore you will be able to learn from an experienced team, receive training and get opportunities to grow in confidence and develop your skills in leading and speaking.
Areas of ministry can include:
School assemblies
Puppet ministry
RE lessons
SU groups
Kids and Youth talks in churches or events
1WAY outreach youth events
HUB youth events
Video resources
OCN level 2 Qualification in Youth Work Practice.

Days: 3/4 per week
CREATE
We have a fantastic team of creative evangelists on staff who look after all our media, advertising and videography. (You can check out some of our videos at cjmedia.online) You will be working alongside this team, receiving training and learning first hand from them.

REACH
This Stream is open to all ages and is based out of our missional hub, HOPE Chapel Lane.
This stream gives you the opportunity to be involved in hands-on outreach and evangelistic ministry in one of the most deprived boroughs in NI. You will work alongside our adult evangelism staff team who will train and support you and give you opportunities to grow and develop.

VIRTUAL
This Stream is a unique way to get involved in Academy, no matter where you are on the island of Ireland.
It is all about equipping you to evangelise through your local church in one of the following areas:

Do you want to grow a certain aspect of the ministry, specifically focused on outreach and evangelistic work?
This stream will give you the opportunity to take part in:

Training and teaching online

Mentoring online

Occasional in-person visits and support from a staff member

Visits to our HQ in Belfast to observe the work first hand and gain hands-on experience
