About the event

Roughly one year ago, in the midst of lockdown, we found ourselves deliberating with each other and God about how we could use the time productively to further our mission to share the gospel and equip Christians across Ireland in evangelism.

We set ourselves a goal to deliver evangelism training online with churches in all 26 counties in ROI. In the 12 months that has passed, what a fantastic venture that that has been!

We are celebrating!

So far we have delivered a mix of online and in-person evangelism training in 13 counties (some instances with one church, some with up to 7 churches), with 250+ people taking part to study and develop their evangelistic skills. Many of you receiving this e-mail will have been partners on those courses; can we take the opportunity to thank you wholeheartedly for your willingness and enthusiasm to partner with us.

If you weren’t in a position to partner with us in the training the first time round, we would love to reach out to you again and invite to join us for our next chapter of partnership for the sake of the gospel.

We would love to build on the momentum and foundation laid through the training, and come to meet with you in person to discuss what the next steps could look like in ensuring that everyone in your county has a chance to hear the good news of the gospel and respond to it in an ethical and accessible way.

To this end - we are hitting the road!

We would love to do two things in each county we have partnered with so far:

  • Church Leaders’ meeting @ 11am  To discuss further partnership opportunities and prayerfully discern what we could do together
  • County-wide prayer and encouragement for the whole church @ 7pm  An evening of envisioning for evangelism in the area, a pursuit of unity in that mission & practical steps to undertake in reaching that goal

Across the next couple of months, we’ll be heading to all counties we’ve met with online so far, here’s our proposed schedule:

16th May - Galway (Discovery Church Galway)

17th May - Sligo (Sligo Methodist Church)

30th May - Carlow & Laois (Barrowvalley Community Church)

1st June - Clare & Limerick (Abundant Life Church)

13th June - Louth & Meath (Solid Rock Church of God)

20th June - Kildare (Open Arms Church Kildare)

21st June - Dublin (Crown Jesus' Dublin base)

You would be very welcome to join us at any of these meetings. Our hope is that as we deliver online/in-person training in more counties, we’ll be able to add to this list and meet with Christians from all counties by the end of 2022.

What’s next?

  • Can you make the leader’s meeting at 11am? Register you & your team on this booking page.
  • Can you share the prayer & encouragement evening at 7pm with your church and encourage them to attend? (Booking link here)

We realise that for some, we may be a relatively unknown organisation; click here to see a video about who we are, why we’re passionate about evangelism in Ireland and why we love the local church!
